I'm switching amps and rewiring the whole car with some quality cables. I just tapped the stock wires initially. I will also be installing some b-quiet ultimate. The hatch area and doors as well as behind the seats are a definite but I'm not sure about removing the carpet. I wouldn't mind taking the time to completely gut the interior lay b-quiet everywhere and route my wiring exactly how I want it. However in a previous parts car I tried removing the carpet without much luck. It seemed the tar on the pad beneath had melted to the frame and was very hard to get up. Is there a write up for removing the carpet? Is it worth all the effort? Anyone have pics of their sound proofing job?
